Indigenous Window Frosting Art Installation
North Entrance Indigenous Window Frosting Art Installation
At Cooleman Court, we are thrilled to share an exciting and new Indigenous Art Installation!
We have once again collaborated with talented and well respected indigenous artist, Eddie Longford, to bring the northern entrance to life.
What once was a view of the neighbouring brick wall, has now been transformed into a captivating masterpiece that not only tells a powerful story but also pays homage to the local traditional owners.
The Mural’s background includes the Brindabella Mountains, the Murrumbidgee River, and the local community. All the animals are native and can be seen in the regions land, waterways, and sky.
We are immensely proud to have this remarkable piece of art grace our building and we hope that it inspires the Coolo community to engage with the rich indigenous culture and history that makes our region so unique.
