Recycling For Our Future

Zero Waste To Landfill

Cooleman Court pledge zero waste to landfill by 2030!

Since 2014 we have been working hard to divert our waste from landfill.

In FY 2014 we diverted 17% of waste, fast forward a few years and we have increased our diversion to 88% by the end of FY 20.

In the last year, our centre diverted 833 tonnes of waste across 12 recycling streams including cardboard, organics, paper, mixed recycling and soft plastics.

With the current diversion rate of 88%, we are proud to say, these recycling efforts are equivalent to taking 104 cars off the road.*

Our zero waste plan aim is to do better every year until we reach our goal.

The best available emission factors have been used, with some assumptions around their application and not all waste streams that have been recycled have been included.
